Funding opportunities

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the Foundation grants funding for local health and medical research to improve the health and wellbeing of Tasmanians. This funding supports research into chronic diseases, maternal and infant health, aged care and the social determinants of health.

This funding is provided through an annual peer reviewed grant round, approved by the Foundation’s Board. Researchers can receive Incubator grants (up to $10,000 each), Project grants (up to $25,000 each) or a Major Project grant (up to $450,000).
