Volunteering with the Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation is a wonderful way to give back to your local community. You can generously give your time to help with an event, assist with a fundraising activity or lend a hand in our office.

Roles can vary to suit your interests and skills, with enthusiasm and an interest in making a difference all you need to join in. We have a range of volunteer roles on offer, ranging from one-off activities to ongoing placements to support our team.

Benefits of volunteering with the Foundation include:

  • Making a positive impact
  • Use your skills to give back
  • Learn new skills in a supportive environment
  • Make new friends
  • Gain valuable work experience.

We provide relevant training to all our volunteers, so you can feel supported knowing that the work you are doing is making a real difference to our community.
