Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the Foundation grants funding for local health and medical research to improve the health and wellbeing of Tasmanians. This funding supports research into chronic diseases, maternal and infant health, aged care and the social determinants of health.
In 2025, the Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation will be offering a new grant structure, with funding opportunities for research projects up to $100,000 over 18 months. These grants are designed to enable deeper research impact and greater flexibility for researchers.
This marks a change from previous years, and more details—including eligibility, timelines and application guidelines—will be made available soon.
Thank you for your patience as we finalise this exciting new phase.
