Menu
One runner. 213.5 km. A mission to give back. Emergency Nurse and passionate trail runner Johnnie Eaton is taking on an epic challenge, running from Latrobe to Lake St Clair via the Penguin Cradle Trail and the Overland Track in early 2026. That’s 213.5 km of rugged coastline, canyons, and alpine wilderness, all in support of the Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation.
Where: Latrobe - Lake St Clair, Tasmania
When: Saturday 25 April, 2026

Johnnie’s goal is to raise $5,000 to help fund vital medical research and better patient care at the Royal Hobart Hospital. A goal that will directly benefit the health and wellbeing of Tasmanians. But this challenge is more than just a run — it’s a test of endurance, grit, and community generosity. Will you help cheer him on?
